The Sharjah Health Authority organized the “Know Your Numbers” event at its headquarters as part of its ongoing efforts to promote employee health and foster a culture of prevention and a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. The event aimed to raise employees’ health awareness by conducting basic health screenings and introducing key personal health indicators, in addition to engaging employees in evaluating and shaping future health programs based on their actual needs. The event featured several interactive stations, including health screenings, healthy nutrition stations, innovative physical activities, as well as awareness competitions and electronic surveys to assess health behaviours and participants’ satisfaction levels. This initiative comes as part of the Authority’s commitment to supporting employee health as a fundamental pillar for enhancing quality of life and improving performance and productivity.
Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority Receives Former Minister of Health of the Republic of Ghana
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, former Minister of Health of the Republic of Ghana. During the meeting, prospects for joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the healthcare sector were discussed, with the aim of enhancing partnership opportunities and supporting the development of healthcare services.
The Sharjah Health Authority held a meeting with Khorfakkan Municipality as part of efforts to enhance institutional cooperation between the two entities. During the meeting, frameworks for regulating licensing and mechanisms for joint coordination were discussed, in a manner that supports raising safety standards and protecting the community.

The meeting comes within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation in the healthcare sector and exploring future investment opportunities, in a manner that supports the development of the healthcare ecosystem in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Sharjah Healthcare City signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Oasis Logistics Investment L.L.C. to establish an advanced and integrated medical project in the Emirate of Sharjah, covering an area of approximately 32,000 square meters. The project aims to provide advanced clinical diagnostic services, specialized medical care, and structured recovery environments within a single facility designed in accordance with the highest standards, thereby strengthening the healthcare ecosystem and supporting the Emirate’s vision of delivering high-quality healthcare services. Both parties affirmed that this step represents an important milestone in the development of the healthcare sector and reflects a shared commitment to delivering sustainable healthcare solutions that contribute to improving quality of life in the Emirate of Sharjah.
