The Sharjah Health Authority, represented by the Health Regulation Department, received a delegation from the National Transplant Center. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation and ways to enhance joint efforts in the healthcare sector particularly in the field of organ donation were discussed. This meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to support humanitarian work in organ donation, promote a culture of giving within the community, and unify systems and legislation related to this vital field.
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received a delegation from the Consultative Council, in the presence of Her Excellency Ms. Amal Ahmed Al Qatari, Director of the Sharjah Health Authority. The delegation included His Excellency Issa Abdulrahim Al Zarooni, His Excellency Humaid Obaid Al Hammoudi, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Ahmed Al Naqbi, Mr. Khalid Nasser Al Hammadi, and Ms. Sheikha Waleed Al Mazrouei. During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, aimed at strengthening joint cooperation between both sides.
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz bin Butti Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received a delegation from the Sharjah Police General Command, represented by Colonel Rashid Ahmed Al Fardan, Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Department; Colonel Jassim bin Talie’a, Director of the Accreditation and Preventive Training Department; Colonel Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Business Continuity Department; and Major Dr. Mohammed Al Yahyaei, Head of the General Administration of Prevention and Safety Section. During the meeting, both parties discussed avenues for cooperation between the two entities and reviewed best practices that can be adopted to enhance institutional performance and safety standards.
The Sharjah Health Authority has been awarded the (Child and Family Friendly) accreditation, reaffirming its commitment to providing a supportive and safe environment that promotes the health and well-being of children and families.
