Dr. Abdelaziz Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, stated that the Executive Committee for Expanding the Scope of Healthy Cities in the Emirate of Sharjah held its first meeting of 2026 on Monday at the authority’s headquarters, to distribute roles and responsibilities among all members.
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received representatives of Roche, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Al Omari, Head of the Diagnostics Division in the United Arab Emirates. During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation were discussed in a manner that serves the Emirate of Sharjah and contributes to the development of the healthcare system.
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received a delegation from the Saudi German Health Group headed by Dr. Ahmed Issa, Chief Executive Officer of the Group in the United Arab Emirates, to discuss avenues of joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the healthcare sector. During the meeting, opportunities to enhance strategic partnerships were discussed in a manner that contributes to the development of healthcare services and the improvement of the quality of care provided, in line with the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah to strengthen a sustainable healthcare system.

The event included a variety of purposeful educational and recreational activities that brought happiness to the children’s hearts and celebrated their childhood in a beautiful Gulf spirit.
