The Sharjah Health Authority held a meeting with the Department of Town Planning and Survey to discuss the process for sick leave transactions and other competencies. This also involved exchanging expertise and opinions and enhancing continuous cooperation between government entities. Furthermore, several meetings were organized with government entities in the Emirate to explain the mechanism of the Medical Committee and newly introduced specializations, and to answer inquiries from human resources officials and employees in these entities.

A training workshop titled "Infection Control and Medical Ethics" targeted healthcare professionals from various specialties. These workshops aim to promote a culture of infection prevention and apply the best global practices in this field among healthcare professionals. They also seek to instill concepts of professional ethics and legal responsibility in daily healthcare practices, enabling healthcare staff to make sound professional decisions that prioritize patient safety and quality of care.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Falasi, CEO of Smart Cube, the company implementing the digital transformation program at the Authority, in the presence of Her Excellency Amal Ahmed Al Qatari, Director of the Sharjah Health Authority, and a number of directors of the concerned departments. During the meeting, the stage of accomplishment of the Unified Digital Health Services Platform was reviewed, which is considered one of the main initiatives within the digital transformation project at the Authority. The project aims to build an integrated digital health system based on artificial intelligence technologies, contributing to improving the quality of services, raising performance efficiency, and enhancing transparency and sustainability in the health sector.

Sharjah Health Authority continued hosting the delegation from Qatar and UNICEF to explore the emirate’s child-focused initiatives. Day two included visits to: • Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services • Al Rahmaniya Nursery The visit showcased Sharjah’s pioneering experiences and aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange for improved child support environments.

The Sharjah Health Authority welcomed a delegation from the State of Qatar and UNICEF, as part of a visit aimed at reviewing leading child-friendly practices in the Emirate of Sharjah and strengthening cooperation in supporting child rights and early childhood development. The Authority organized a field visit that included several child-focused entities and facilities in the emirate, such as: • University Hospital Sharjah • Sharjah Children • Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah This tour aimed to highlight Sharjah’s efforts in providing a supportive and child-friendly environment, reflecting the emirate’s strong commitment to upholding children's rights and enhancing their quality of life across all areas.
