As part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and support institutional partnerships, Sharjah Health Authority met with a delegation from the Criminal Investigation Department at Sharjah Police General Headquarters. The meeting began with an overview of the Authority’s responsibilities and its role in regulating and supporting the healthcare sector, as well as an introduction to the operations of Sharjah Healthcare City. The meeting also highlighted the commercial companies and establishments operating within the City’s free zone and discussed areas of cooperation and information exchange to support integration among government entities and enhance the quality of services provided.
Sharjah Health Authority Launches “At the Health Table” Campaign in Cooperation with the Federal Affairs Office
Today, we launch the first session of our awareness campaign, “At the Health Table,” in cooperation with the Federal Affairs Office. Through a series of discussion sessions, we highlight our daily habits from nutrition and physical activity to sleep and explore how they can make a meaningful difference to our health and quality of life. Our discussions will continue and our topics will evolve, because our health deserves to always have a place at the table.
H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Mheiri, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority, received a delegation from Mubadala Investment Company comprising Mr. Ismail Abdulla, Executive Director of the UAE Clusters Unit within Mubadala’s UAE Investments Company; Dr. Essam Mohamed, Group Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Bio; Mr. Khalid Abdalla Alkaf, General Manager of Pharma Logistics at Mubadala Bio; and Mr. Khaled Al Mansoori, General Manager of Global Medical Supply Chain. During the meeting, both sides explored prospects for joint cooperation and investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, in addition to discussing several areas of mutual interest. The discussions aimed to support the development of the healthcare sector and enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system in the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates as a whole.
