As part of the ongoing cooperation between Sharjah Health Authority and Dubai Health Authority, a number of joint inspection visits were conducted to promote the exchange of expertise and best practices in the regulation and inspection of healthcare facilities. This cooperation supports the integration of efforts between the two entities and the development of regulatory and inspection practices, contributing to enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare services provided to the community.

H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority, received Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, along with the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation between Sharjah Health Authority and Sharjah Sports Council and explored potential areas and opportunities for collaboration.

Sharjah Healthcare City hosted a delegation from the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority at its headquarters to explore opportunities for joint cooperation and operational coordination between the two entities. The meeting focused on regulating customs frameworks within free zones and expanding the range of customs services and facilitation measures provided to companies and investors in the healthcare sector registered with Sharjah Healthcare City.

Shahad Al Yafei, Director of the Public Health Department at Sharjah Health Authority, stated that, in conjunction with World Organ Donation Day and in collaboration with the National Center for Regulating Human Organ and Tissue Transplantation – “Hayat” Program, affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Authority organized a panel discussion under the theme “A Life Given... Hope Renewed.” The session aimed to raise community awareness of the importance of organ donation.
