As part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and prevent heat stress, Sharjah Health Authority, in collaboration with Emirates Health Services and supporting partners, continues to implement its awareness campaign in the Central Region. The Cultural Centre in Al Dhaid hosted an awareness lecture highlighting the key risks associated with heat stress and methods of prevention. The session emphasized the importance of awareness and adherence to health guidelines to protect community members and workers during the summer season.
Sharjah Health Authority Promotes Health Awareness Among Children Through the Our Holiday is Different Initiative
As part of the Our Holiday is Different initiative, we conducted 52109 workshops for children at Al Bataeh Club and the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum in an atmosphere filled with fun and learning. Through an engaging and interactive approach, we aim to instil healthy habits in children and encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received His Excellency Dr. Alawi Al Sheikh Ali, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, in the presence of Her Excellency Amal Ahmed Al Qatari, Director of the Authority, and a number of department directors. His Excellency Dr. Alawi Al Sheikh Ali was also accompanied by a number of executive directors and department directors. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and enhance coordination between the teams in the areas of public health, health regulation, research, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence, contributing to the development of services and enhancing the efficiency of the healthcare system.
