This service allows health facilities with valid licenses that provide fertility services to request a permit to transfer frozen samples, such as eggs or sperm, from one fertility center to another licensed by the Sharjah Health Authority or another licensing body inside or outside the country.

Through this service allows health facilities with valid licenses that provide fertility services to request a permit to transfer frozen samples.
Required Documents:
- Copy of Emirates IDs/Passports for the patient & spouse.
- Consent form signed by the patient & spouse for freezing the specimen.
- Recent Medical & Freezing reports from the Primary/Exporting Facility with details about the frozen specimen.
- Virology report (HEP-B, HEP-C, HIV & COVID-19 PCR if applicable).
- NOC letter from the Primary/Exporting Facility.
- NOC letter from the Receiving/Importing Facility.
- Receiving/Importing facility's policy on ensuring quality and safe transfer of the specimen.
- Cases where the facility is not within SHA jurisdiction, NOC letter from the regulatory authority with a copy of facility license.
Conditions & Requirements:
- Applicant Facility must have an active SHA license.
- external transfer applications can be for either Send or Receive type.
- Medical Director NOC from external facility is mandatory at submission.
- External Health Authority NOC is optional at initial submission but required within 30 days of approval.
Service Process:
- Applicant facility submits transfer request.
- Officer review.
- Generate NOC letter.
- Notify both facilities (sender & receiver) of approval or rejection.
Service Output:
- Approval/ NOC for Transfer Frozen Specimen.

- There are no fees.
