In a display of unity and pride, employees of Sharjah Health Authority and Sharjah Healthcare City participated in the UAE flag-raising ceremony, celebrating the nation’s spirit, belonging, and national pride.
Sharjah Health Authority organized an awareness workshop titled “Healthy Nutrition… A Lifestyle” at the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being among employees and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits. The workshop was conducted in strategic collaboration with University Hospital Sharjah, where Afra Al Mashghouni, Clinical Dietitian, delivered a session on the importance of balanced nutrition and its role in preventing chronic diseases. Life Nutrition Center and Sunny Wellness Clinic also participated, providing free health screenings including blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight measurements along with guidance on nutrition, physical activity, and disease prevention.
Sharjah Health Authority continued its participation in the “Sharjah: Future Station – Healthcare” Forum for the second day, highlighting its pioneering projects and initiatives designed to strengthen a sustainable healthcare ecosystem in the Emirate. The Authority also showcased the key achievements of Sharjah Healthcare City and the Sharjah Child-Friendly Office in promoting community health and enhancing quality of life. University Hospital Sharjah joined the Authority’s pavilion, presenting its advanced medical services and latest technologies in line with international standards, further reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a leading regional hub for healthcare.
Sharjah Health Authority was honoured by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in recognition of its outstanding contributions during the “Sharjah: Future Station – Healthcare” Forum. The award was received by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Mheiri, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority, acknowledging the Authority’s leading role in advancing the healthcare sector and promoting innovation and quality of life in Sharjah
