Sharjah Health Authority Initiative on World Patient Safety Day

The Sharjah Health Authority organized an initiative on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day, as part of its commitment to promoting a culture of safety and quality healthcare among community members and healthcare providers. The initiative included community activities targeting various segments of society, in addition to distributing brochures and educational gifts carrying awareness messages about the importance of patient safety. The Authority affirms that organizing such initiatives is in line with the World Health Organization’s approach to making patient safety a top priority within healthcare systems, noting that these efforts reflect the Emirate’s commitment to providing safe and high-quality healthcare services, while enhancing individuals’ awareness of the importance of their role in protecting themselves and their families. We are keen on fostering a culture of safety and ensuring the provision of a safe and sustainable healthcare environment in the Emirate of Sharjah.
