“Heart Health and Chronic Diseases” Workshop Promotes Prevention and Workplace Wellness

As part of the “Heart Health and Chronic Diseases” initiative, the Sharjah Health Authority organized its second workshop in collaboration with Al Buhaira National Insurance and TruDoc, held at Al Bataeh Municipality and targeting its employees to promote prevention and proper management of chronic diseases. The workshop included various activities such as free medical check-ups, simplified awareness lectures, and breathing exercises to improve both physical and mental health. The event witnessed positive interaction from the attendees, who showed great interest in the topics presented. These workshops aim to raise employees’ awareness of potential health risks associated with the work environment and to provide them with the knowledge and skills that help them adopt a healthy lifestyle, positively reflecting on their productivity and quality of life. Through such efforts, the Sharjah Health Authority reaffirms its commitment to supporting employees and providing awareness programs that contribute to building a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace.
