Specialized Health Workshop on Heart Health and Diabetes for Laborers In Collaboration with Sharjah Municipality and Healthcare Sector Partners

The Sharjah Health Authority, in cooperation with Al Buhaira National Insurance Company and True Doc, organized a health workshop at the Sharjah Municipality headquarters titled “Heart Health and Diabetes: Prevention and Management of Chronic Diseases” for the municipality’s laborers, specifically farmers. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of laborers and to enhance the quality of the work environment. The workshop witnessed wide participation and included free medical check-ups, awareness lectures, and breathing exercises that contributed to improving both mental and physical health. The initiative aims to empower laborers by raising their awareness of health risks associated with daily work and equipping them with the tools and knowledge to prevent illness and improve their lifestyle. Through such awareness workshops, the Sharjah Health Authority reaffirms its commitment to supporting laborers and providing health initiatives that promote awareness and contribute to building a safe and healthy work environment.
