Sharjah Health Authority Welcomes UNICEF Delegation as Part of Efforts to Renew Sharjah’s Child-Friendly City Accreditation
The Sharjah Health Authority welcomed a delegation from UNICEF, led by Marion Libertouchi, Senior Advisor for the Child-Friendly Cities Initiative, as part of efforts to renew Sharjah’s accreditation as a Child-Friendly City.
His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Al Mheiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, received the delegation and reaffirmed Sharjah’s ongoing commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable environment that supports the development of children and adolescents.
The visit included meetings with Sharjah government institutions, as well as field visits to several leading organizations in the emirate, including:
- Kanaf Centre
- Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services
- Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah
- Alsiyouh Nursery
- Sharjah Children
