Sharjah Health Authority Organizes Awareness Workshop on Breast Cancer During Annual Awareness Month

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place every October, the Sharjah Health Authority, in collaboration with the University Hospital, organized an awareness workshop on breast cancer. The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. The workshop focused on the significance of regular screenings and their role in improving recovery chances and reducing the risks of the disease. A team of doctors and specialists from the University Hospital provided valuable information on the symptoms of breast cancer, prevention methods, and the importance of psychological support for both patients and their surrounding community. On this occasion, the Authority stressed the need to continue spreading awareness about this disease, which affects thousands of women worldwide every year, and highlighted that early detection could save many lives.
