The issuance of the guide for doctors and healthcare professionals 'Children's Rights in Healthcare' in Sharjah
The Sharjah Health Authority announced today the launch of a book titled "Children's Rights in Healthcare," aimed at doctors and healthcare professionals in the United Arab Emirates. This announcement was made during a meeting between His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Al Mheiri, the Chairman of the Authority, and a representative from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Mr. Tayeb Adam, along with members from the Sharjah Child Friendly Office affiliated with the Authority.
The purpose of this book is to provide practical information for medical, nursing, and other healthcare students, as well as for beginner professionals studying or working in the United Arab Emirates. The guide outlines national legislation and discusses various children's rights, such as the right to non-discrimination, access to information, participation, and the right to play.
This publication is part of the Authority's efforts to promote health awareness and enhance understanding of children's rights in the healthcare field.
